About the Interland, LLC
Sculpture in memory of Interland Corporation founder Jim JosephIn 1960, after graduating from Wharton School of Finance, Mr. Jim Joseph began developing
and acquiring commercial and residential property in California. In 1971, he formed
Interland Corporation, followed by Interland Construction Corporation in 1973. During
that period, Mr. Joseph used creative vision to develop land in what is now the
Silicon Valley - leader of the world renowned center of technology.
Excelling in the skills of investment prudence and ability to identify property
potential, he successfully expanded Interland's real estate portfolio into the Western
United States, including the development of San Francisco's first major corporate
campus. This development, which included the city's only privately maintained publicly-accessible
park, became the worldwide headquarters for Levi Strauss and Company.
Excellence in design and function
Since 1960, Interland has held firm to its founding principle: to provide excellence
in real estate development, construction, asset management and acquisition. Over
the years, the company has distinguished itself as a highly respected developer
with a diverse portfolio of office, commercial, and apartment projects throughout
the West.
Interland develops, constructs, operates and acquires executive office parks and
major apartment complexes in the Western United States. It accomplishes this through
the combined efforts of its own controlled affiliates and through joint ventures
with financial institutions.
Responsive asset management
Responsiveness is the key to Interland's track record of successful asset management.
Interland has always viewed its multi-family residents and commercial tenants as
valued customers, providing prompt follow-up to accommodate requests or resolve
problems.
The company utilizes a combination in-house and fee management for its multi-family
and commercial portfolio to maintain quality, control and cost efficiency. Interland's
management style is hands-on to ensure that budgets are adhered to, assets are managed
well and residents and tenants are provided with the highest quality communities
and facilities.
